DGI e-invoicing
The e-invoice goes out on its own when you get paid.
Cooku issues Panama’s DGI e-invoice within the order flow: you charge on the POS or the guest pays from the QR, and the invoice is generated without anyone typing it separately.

How it works
- When the payment is confirmed, Cooku issues the invoice through the authorized provider Alanube and returns the DGI PDF, XML and QR code.
- ITBMS is broken down according to the taxes you set up per branch.
- If you refund a payment, Cooku issues the credit note automatically.
- An order paid with several methods (for example, part cash and part card) is reported to the DGI with each payment method.
- If the DGI or the provider does not respond at that moment, Cooku retries the issuance on its own.

The invoice lives next to the order, the payment and the day’s Z close, with sales broken down by payment method, in the same system: no data to move between systems.
